Rideshare

Uber is authorized at SJU and is the only rideshare in Puerto Rico (no Lyft). It's card-only. Pickup is at designated zones — Terminal A arrivals, and between columns 16–19 at Terminal B/C arrivals — and you must request the ride only once you're at the zone.

Taxi

Official “Taxi Turístico” cabs (white, with the garita/sentry-box logo) charge fixed, zone-based fares set by the PR Tourism Company (e.g. set rates to Isla Verde, Condado, Old San Juan), plus a small per-bag charge and a late-night surcharge (~22:00–06:00). Confirm the zone rate before leaving. They queue at Terminal A and Terminal B arrivals (B serves C).

Shuttle

Some resorts (Ritz-Carlton, Sheraton, etc.) offer shuttles; private transfers can be pre-booked — good for groups.

Transit

The AMA public bus stops out on PR-26 (a 10–15 min walk); very cheap and exact-change, but infrequent and impractical with luggage.
