RER B Train / Uber

Use only the official taxi rank — Paris taxis have a regulated flat fare set by law that covers all luggage and up to 4 passengers (one rate for Right Bank, one for Left Bank). Anyone who approaches you inside the terminal offering a taxi is part of a well-documented scam ring. If you prefer rail, the RER B goes to central Paris but requires a Navigo Easy card (paper tickets no longer exist as of January 2025).

Rideshare

Uber and Bolt use designated pickup zones outside each terminal — follow the signs and your in-app pin. Surge can push fares above the regulated taxi flat rate; Bolt is sometimes more affordable than Uber off-peak.

Taxi

Use only the official rank — Paris taxis charge a regulated flat fare set by law (one rate for the Right Bank, one for the Left Bank), covering all luggage and up to 4 passengers, with no traffic surcharge. Ranks: Terminal 2E Door 10 (follow the painted footprints on the floor), 2F nearby, and outside arrivals at T1 and T3. Two lines exist — one for Paris, one for the suburbs ("Banlieue") — make sure you're in the right one. Real cabs have a blue "TAXI PARISIEN" plate and a lit roof sign.

Shuttle

On-airport hotels (Ibis, Sheraton, Pullman, etc.) run shuttles to specific terminals, picking up at designated hotel-shuttle zones outside arrivals.

Transit

RER B connects to central Paris from the T2 station (T1 and T3 via free shuttle to T2): Gare du Nord ~25 min, Châtelet–Les Halles ~35 min. Trains every 10–15 min until around midnight. Tickets now require a Navigo Easy card or contactless/mobile — paper tickets are gone. Strikes and engineering works are frequent, so check live status before relying on it for an early flight.

Pre-booked transfers wait inside arrivals with a name sign — particularly popular at CDG given the documented taxi-scam problem.
