Uber / Lyft / Pre-Booked Transfer

For Disney, Universal, hotels, or the cruise ports, take rideshare, a taxi, or a pre-booked transfer/shuttle — no transit goes there directly. Watch the levels: at Terminals A/B, taxis are on Level 1 but rideshare (Uber/Lyft/Wingz/KreweCar) picks up on the Arrivals Curb Level 2; at Terminal C, rideshare is on Level 6. Confirm your terminal first — Terminal C is a mile from A/B (the free Terminal Link APM connects them). Brightline rail goes to South Florida (Miami/Fort Lauderdale), not the theme parks.

Rideshare

Uber/Lyft (and Wingz/KreweCar) use the Arrivals Curb LEVEL 2 at Terminals A/B — NOT Level 1, where taxis and shuttles are (from 9 p.m.–2 a.m. pickup shifts up to the Departures Curb, Level 3). At Terminal C, rideshare picks up on Level 6. Follow the rideshare signs and your in-app pin.

Taxi

Licensed taxis at the designated stands on Level 1 at A/B and at Terminal C; Mears is the dominant operator. Metered fares.

Shuttle

Mears Connect and hotel/theme-park shuttles depart from Ground Transportation, Level 1 (Universal's SuperStar Shuttle uses Terminal A Level 1). Pre-book for Disney/Universal/Port Canaveral.

Transit

There is no direct transit to the theme parks; LYNX city buses are slow. Brightline rail (Terminal C Intermodal station) runs to South Florida only — not Disney/Universal or downtown Orlando.

Local Tips

  • Confirm your terminal before arranging pickup — Terminal C is a full mile from Terminals A/B. The free Terminal Link APM connects them in ~4 min.
  • At Terminals A/B, rideshare picks up on the Arrivals Curb LEVEL 2 — not Level 1 (Level 1 is taxis/shuttles). At Terminal C it's Level 6. Following 'Ground Transportation' signs lands you on the wrong level.
  • Brightline rail goes to South Florida (Miami, Fort Lauderdale), NOT to Disney or Universal — don't assume the train helps for the theme parks.
  • No public transit goes directly to the theme parks — it's rideshare, taxi, shuttle, or a pre-booked car. For families with car seats, a pre-booked transfer is usually easiest.
  • Late at night (9 p.m.–2 a.m.) the A/B rideshare pickup shifts up to the Departures Curb (Level 3) — check your app's pin.
